SIH Internal Hackathon 2026 is the official internal hackathon of Government College of Engineering & Textile Technology, Berhampore (GCETTB), jointly organized by GCETTB Students’ Association 2025–26 (GCETTBSA) and Technophiles. The hackathon aims to provide students with a platform to innovate, collaborate, and develop technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges based on the problem statements of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH). Participants will work in teams to transform ideas into impactful solutions while demonstrating their skills in problem-solving, programming, design, innovation, teamwork, and technical implementation. The event will also serve as an internal platform for identifying promising teams for further participation in SIH. 👥 Team Formation Criteria As per the SIH team guidelines, each participating team must consist of 6 members. 👨‍💻 Team Size: Exactly 6 students 👩‍💻 Female Representation: Each team must have at least 1 girl student 🤝 Students are encouraged to form multidisciplinary teams with diverse technical and creative skills. 🏆 Teams will compete based on the innovation, feasibility, technical implementation, impact, and presentation of their proposed solution. 💡 What to Expect 🔥 Real-world problem solving 💻 Coding & technology 🧠 Innovation and ideation 🤝 Collaborative teamwork 🎯 Mentorship and evaluation 🏆 Opportunity to represent GCETTB at SIH Think beyond the problem.
